Our Actions
Over two months, The Safety Department developed and implemented measures to ensure clients remained compliant:
- Policy Updates: Comprehensive sexual harassment policies and procedures were drafted to address prevention, mitigation, and appropriate responses.
- New Documentation: Tailored complaints forms and investigation procedures were created and distributed to clients.
- Risk Assessments: Workplace-specific risk assessments were introduced to identify and address potential harassment risks.
- Training and Communication: Clients were provided with guidance on policy implementation and staff awareness training to foster safer workplaces.
Outcome
Clients reported increased confidence in handling harassment issues, improved workplace safety, and enhanced compliance with the Equality Act. These updates reinforced The Safety Department’s reputation as a proactive partner in navigating complex regulatory landscapes.
